Named after the great English naval hero Lord Nelson, who won the battle of Trafalgar against Napoleon, Lord Nelson Hotel hotel is perfectly situated on the Old Town, around the corner from Stockholm's Royal Castle. Here you stay in a tall, narrow 17th century building that is reminiscent of an old ship. In the 17th century it was inhabited by a printer named Ignatius Mauer who, together with GĂśran Helsing, was responsible for printing Swedenâs Charles X version of the bible. You can see a copy for yourself, proudly displayed in the hotel lobby.
