The building of La Demeure, built at the turn of the XIXth century, was originally a residential building, with shops on the ground floor, as a typical construction of the haussman era. Turned into a hotel in 1910, La Demeure Hotel became a welcome place for white Russians fleeing the Revolution. Owned by the same family, its main assets consist in the oversized rooms, the warm homely atmosphere, the Paris ambiance, its situation at the heart of a historical fast moving area and its unusual high level of comfort and services for a hotel of its kind. After a global revamping, La Demeure Hotel has all the advantages of a larger establishment, yet exudes the warmth, intimacy and attention to detail, which only a privately owned hotel can afford. From the moment you are greeted by the owner, you will experience a cordial yet discreet welcome.
