On the slopes of the Chianti hills between Florence and Siena, Camping Village Norcenni Girasole Club is the ideal place to fulfil all your Tuscan dreams. Open from March till the end of October, with our two pool complexes, spa/fitness centre, restaurants, bars, cookery courses and plenty of sunshine. We provide everything you need to ensure you enjoy your holiday in this beautiful region. The campsite is comprised of a 15th century villa surrounded by a modern camping village, fully equipped for all your needs. The competent multi lingual staff, will be available to help you make the most of your holiday in Tuscany. *Reception The main reception of the campsite and Villa Norcenni is open every day from 07.30 until 23.00. For emergencies or issues outside of these hours please contact the security staff. Check out if you are staying on a camping pitches is by 12pm, or if you are staying in a villa apartment, bungalow or mobile home is by 10.00. Information Point All the information on local events, places to see, opening times, prices and bookings is found here. You can book your excursions and day trips as well as find maps of the area. Other services include photocopying and fax, safety deposit boxes, car rental, scooter and mountain bike hire, tickets for bus and train travel. * Children's Animation (April-October) For a fun filled holiday the energetic animation team has all the exciting ideas and activities. The animation is attractive and organises a mini club for children 3 years and over everyday from 10am-12pm and from 4pm-6pm. See the board outside the info point for the daily programme. Internet There are several PC's located in the main café while there is a larger internet café in the bazaar. The internet also offers a digital photo printing service, you can bring your cards, discs and memory sticks for instant prints. Supermarkets We have two fully equipped supermarkets onsite. These are located in the lower campsite and upper campsite with a huge range of international items and fresh local produce. All the essentials are available from cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks, fruit and vegetables, cold meats, groceries, toiletries, camping supplies, film supplies and developing. Everything to keep you going. * Bazaar & Gift shops Searching for postcards, stamps, phone cards and international newspapers? Look no further. See also an huge range of gifts, clothes, sports equipment and souvenirs available. You also get your washing machine and dryer tokens here. Located in both the lower and upper campsites. Swimming pools (close end September) There are plenty of fun options with two pool complexes. There are 3 pools in the lower complex, including a 33m pool and hydroslide. In the upper complex there is an exciting Water Park with lagoon pool, sun loungers and the lazy river. * Outdoor Sports Complex With 2 all weather tennis courts, football pitch, beach volley and minigolf course there's something for everyone to enjoy. Bookings can be made through the ticket office next to the golf course or the bazaar. Lights are available for night games. * Fitness & Wellbeing Centre (closes end October) If you've overindulged in the gelati and bisteccas maybe this is the place to work it all off again. Fitness instructors are on hand to develop your own program in fully equipped gym. Or you can take the soft option and just indulge in the sauna, steam room, massage and get a haircut while you're at it. * Norcenni Girasole Club offers a wide range of accommodation and therefore a perfect chance to choose the right solution to meet your needs and requirements. Situated on tree lined terraces you will find level grassy and shady pitches with the following: * Bungalows 1-4 people (‘bilo') One double room, bathroom with shower and toilet, living room with table and chairs, a fully equipped kitchenette and a bunk bed for two people. They have an outside terrace with table and chairs. Air-con and heating available. * Bungalows 1-6 people (‘trilo') Two double rooms with a third bed, two bathrooms with shower and toilet, living room with table and chairs, and a fully equipped kitchenette. They have an outside terrace with table and chairs. Air-con and heating available. * Camping Large shady emplacements, all equipped with electricity and water taps. First class shower blocks are located nearby. We also offer you the possibility to hire a private bathroom. Giotto Mobile Homes 2-5 people A comfortable home away from home. It consists of one double room, one room with three beds, a living room with fully equipped kitchenette and television, a bathroom with shower, and a separate toilet. All equipped with air conditioning. * Botticelli Mobile Homes 2-6 people Two separate bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds, each with their own bathroom with shower and toilet, and a living room with fully equipped kitchenette and a double sleep couch. Furthermore, they have an outside terrace with sunloungers, table and chairs. All the mobile homes are situated in a quiet area with playgrounds and staff to assist you during your stay. * Vılla Norcennı Villa Norcenni, built in the late 15th century as a watch tower, used to belong to the Count Magherini family, who transformed the old watch tower in the course of a century into the present building. The holiday apartments in the Villa Norcenni sleep up to 6 people, they are all equipped with Tuscan style furniture and all have a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a fully equipped kitchenette. The intimate and characteristic ambience is enhanced by the superb view from the Villa. The gardens and courtyards offer tables and chairs for all apartments. The guests in the Villa can use all the facilities and services on camping village Norcenni Girasole Club. By Car: On the A1 motorway between Firenze (Florence) and Roma, take exit Incisa. After the toll booth, turn left on the SS69 in direction Arezzo. After 5 kilometres, turn right twice onto the SP16 in direction Greve, Via Grevignana. After 3 kilometres, turn left to arrive at the campsite. By Rail: Catch a train from Florence S.M.N station to Arezzo/Roma Termini and get off at Figline Valdarno (25 mins.) There we have a shuttle bus to pick you up at 6.40 p.m. every day. If you need transport at any other time of day from and to the train station, ask the info point (055.9151428) and we will book a taxi for you. Trains to and from Florence leave from the train station of Figline at all hours of the day every day. A return train ticket to Florence costs € 6.60. By Bus: From the Sita bus station, which is opposite Florence SMN station, catch a blue Sita Bus- destination Figline Valdarno. When reaching Figline Valdarno, the shuttle bus is next to the bus stop and runs every day at 6.40pm. By Air: From Pisa Airport(Gallileo Gallilei) : From Pisa Airport catch the train (approx 1hr) to Florence SMN where you change trains to reach Figline Valdarno. From Florence Airport(Peretola): From Florence Airport catch the Terravision bus to Florence SMN station and then the train to Figline Valdarno. Catch a train from Florence S.M.N station to Arezzo/Roma Termini and get off at Figline Valdarno (25 mins.) There we have a shuttle bus to pick you up at 6.40 p.m. every day.
