The first stone of the Crowne Plaza Antwerp was placed on the 8th of February 1972 by Mr. Craeybeckx, Mayor of Antwerp. The hotel was fully finished and opened on the 30th of September 1974. During this time Crowne Plaza Antwerp became A historic Landmark hotel in Antwerp and experienced a lot of changes. From renovations to new uniforms through change of ownerships and brand names.
